Vetiver - More Of This

The American band Vetiver is more representative of a "weird folk" or "New Weird America," that consists of musicians as the founder Devendra Banhart (who is part of Vetiver and I talked when I posted about Megapuss ), Joanna Newsom and Six Organs of Admittance (and perhaps the Little Joy ???). The group began in 2004 with the disk that bears his name. The second release was "To Find Me Gone" in 2006. Then came "Thing of the Past", 2008, and the current "Tight Knit" of that year. I just listen to the whole new album and it was excellent. The track that pleased me most was "More of This," with its peaceful melody and at the same time, dancing, full of life, and its lyrics and pop. Check it out and tell me what you think.
