OK, so the description of the blog you read "sounds for the dancefloor, and what you are to hear does not fit so direitinho there. But after being forced to listen to the hype sometimes "xx" (anyway, in case), the first ever album of the same name The xx - so much acclaim from critics who comes to the fear - I could not help. I had to come here and admit, countered that sometimes the hype is justified.

Minimalism, simple arrangements, a duo of timid voices and melodies and conducted environments: it is basically it. The English of The xx make music for those who do not like manioc Music. In "Intro", the opening, I was captivated. Simple, thin, ethereal - and so it follows the rest of the disc. The fewer instruments playing at once, the better. The guitars and samplers carefully drawing the melody, the bass doing climão almost dark, the alternating voices in harmony, the drum machine setting the pace. It worked for me.

Now, plainly, put the earphones, forget the hype and hear "Crystalized" without expecting much - even if doing so is kind of hard after that review baba-ovo. But I think that's just how it can 't be surprised. And, if not surprising, at least it will serve as a good chill-out. Or am I sadly mistaken!
