Fun - Benson Hedges (Demo)

The post on The Format was a success. A pity, indeed, that its members have decided to end it, earlier this year. But the opportunity, I mentioned the new project quickly lead singer, Nate Ruess, called fun (in lower case, even). So how many people like it, write a little about it.
Ruess joined by two musicians: Jack Antonoff of Steel Train and Andrew Dost of Anathallo. In September, began recording their first album, due out sometime in 2009.
The first demo is "Benson Hedges", which offers here. Ruess out of his comfortable position as an excellent composer of great pop songs with choruses engaging, to venture into a competent indie rock. I think we will be able to please old fans and attract new ones. As soon as I heard, I noticed some reference to the Queen, perhaps because of the harmonies of voices and the rhythm section brought the song. Obviously, I'm not setting any comparison.
