Fun - Benson Hedges (Demo)

The post on The Format was a success. A pity, really, that its members have decided to end it, earlier this year. But on occasion, I said quickly the new design of its lead singer, Nate Ruess, called fun (lowercase, even). So how many people like it, write a little about.
Ruess joined by two musicians: Jack Antonoff of Steel Train and Andrew Dost of Anathallo. In September, began recording their first album, due out sometime in 2009.
The first demo is "Benson Hedges", available here. Ruess leaves his comfortable position as an excellent composer of pop songs with great choruses engaging, to venture into a competent indie rock. I think that will please the old fans and attract new ones. As soon as I heard, I noticed some reference to the Queen, perhaps because of the harmonies of voices and brought rhythmic song. Obviously, I'm not setting any comparison.
